- I am a senior teacher of the Alexander Technique, qualifying in 1975.
- In 1985 I founded the Italian Centre for the Alexander Technique and trained 15 teachers who are now teaching in Italy.
- In 1993 I started the Greater Manchester Centre for Alexander Studies.
- I have taught on the Eton College Choral courses and for 5 years I was the Alexander Technique teacher to the choral and organ scholars at Kings College, Cambridge.
- I have run group Alexander Technique courses at the Universities of Keele, Manchester and Bournemouth. I have also run courses for Poole Council and many colleges of further education.
- I have also taught Stress Management Courses for the University of Bournemouth and Oldham College.
- I was on the Bank of Complementary Therapists for Tameside Hospital, Cheshire.
- In addition to teaching privately, I am currently Teacher of the Alexander Technique to the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra.
Professional Qualifications:
I received my BA degree from the University of Manchester in 1971. I qualified as an Alexander Teacher in July 1975 and have been a teaching member (M.S.T.A.T.) of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique since then. In 1984 I received my Certificate in Basic Training from the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology and in 1996 qualified as a Painless Spinal Touch therapist. In 2002 I trained as a Pilates teacher in London.
I am fully insured for all the treatments that I do. All treatments and therapies are carried out in the strictest confidence. I currently work in Axminster and plan to work in Chard and Crewkerne. (Tel: 01297 678168)
